- Follow up treatment 2-3 weeks later is often recommended to catch any developing worms from eggs that may have been ingested prior to the first treatment.
- Good hygiene can help prevent spread, like washing hands thoroughly, especially before eating or after using the bathroom. You may also want to consider examining siblings or other household members.
