salaam again em here with a query
My little angel who is just 3 months old suffering from AMC and her treatment is going on
my major concern is her weight birth weight 3 kg Then her weight is declining in between sometimes 2.4 to 2.9 current weight is 2.6
*her sucking power is not good . drink milk 1 ounce in 1 hour *she is taking mother feed and bf1 in feeder.
anyone who can suggest good dietitian and go through from her all prescriptions and suggest something good
baby attending physician will be able to guide you accordingly.
consult paediatrician to help you. At 3 months baby should be given mother feed only but needs to address her other problems as well and feeding techniques.

and I tried drip drop method and other ways too
but she can't latch properly
hardly 1min .
due to AMC she is wearing afo, kafo,pelvic harness Nd many things on hand .so it's not easy to make her breastfeed again and again

you may give high calorie formula available for premature babies also may talk about giving MCT oil and micronutrients drops
human milk fortifier is also available now that can be mixed in expressed breast milk
also breast milk has more fat and more calories than formula so try going exclusive breastfeed either direct latch or expressed milk in bottle
yes any formula that says for pre mature every brand makes it check label it should give 22 to 24 calories regular formula has 20
kindly focus on breastfeeding
formula may increase risk of allergy and infection
and baby is already going through alot
