my baby is 8 months old. he is having loose stool since a week. doctor prescribed him flagyl and ORS. i started ORS according to his prescription but i fluld flagyl a little late. now the prescription is missed placed and i dont how much dose should i give a 8 month old baby.
please, can a Paediatrician guide me for dosage of flagyl syrup?

don't Give Flagyl like that please it's not a candy
use syrup zincat OD 1 tsp subah shaam, Flagyl has no role in peads diarrhea
diarrhea main goal of treatment is prevention of dehydration replace amounts of fluid lost effectively
use banana yogurt khichdi
avoid cow milk switch to breast milk or low lactose formula
Weight of child.... Usually flagyl not recommended..
Use probiotic
flagyl not recommend in simple loose stool only probiotic and zincate and ors
