Talk to Pediatrics on Lump Under Breast While Breastfeeding

I'm breastfeeding my 9 months old baby and I have noticed a lump under my right breast that is painful too whenever something touches it, otherwise I can't feel it.
I felt this same pain last month too but it went away as I had my periods. My expected periods date is 23rd March and feeling this pain since 9th March.
Is this something for which I should go for a physical checkup? Or something related to periods cycle or breastfeeding? Please guide.
