Asking for Mother, Female, 68 years old, Lahore
Aoa, my mother is suffering from severe shoulder and bicep pain after severe vomiting. She is heart patient n got her bypass last year in aug. She is unable to move her left arm n shoulder. Heating pad is relieving but temporarily. Kindly suggest what should i do
in most of the bypass cases, pain in the mentioned areas is common due to surgical procedures. please consult any nearby worthy physical therapist,especially who has experience in cardiac rehab.

may bi she has rotator cuff tear may bi it's go towards frozen shoulder...but proper test require for it...consult with physiotherapist ......

if its left shoulder and arm then first you should go to cardiologist it's a medical emergency. If they clear then come to physiotherapist.

Most patient get adhesive capsulitis after bypass surgery. Kindly perform frozen shoulder exercises and take heat for relief of pain. Also get appointment with your physiotherapist for proper diagnosis and evaluation.

This can be adhesive capsulitis , due to inability after surgery most of the patients complain about these symptoms but this should be ruled out through physical examination consult your nearby doctor.
