It is best to visit Neuro rehab center Peshawer road. As it needs assessment and guide balance training. 042-32591427, You can discuss more
E stimulation modality and repeated range of motions in physiotherapy are very usefull in such cases. You shpuld focus on physiotherapy sessions. But it might take lil bit longer duration for recovery. Because it is totally depends on the response of patient.
can u please send video of foot, that will help in examination and evaluation of the condition. then i'll be able to guide you better.
thanks.

+042-32591427,
he will be ok. 1st I have to see patient. then will tell u.
Patient face lot of problems after stroke, if he is not walking properly then start his balance training along with activating calf muscle and proneal nerve stimulation. Calf muscle should be in normal state to perform its function. Make sure ur Physiotherapist primary focus should be the calf muscle along with finger mobility training.
As this is old stroke chances of recovery is less but stretching and balance training make some difference
strengthening of lower limb especially calf muscle and balancing exercises will help to overcome this problem
He will be fine. Don't worry. Have to check this patient first. Kindly Book an appointment through Marham. Wil contact further.
consult a neuro rehab center
old stroke take time to recover but neuro rehab is good for him inshallah
let your Physiotherapist decide best for your father, because he is following him from day 1
I have seen patient facing the same problem . Although it would take long time to walk independently . But the good news is after balance training patient is able to walk in a manner to be more functional. I would recommend you to continue his physio. I need more history about age , body physique , stroke type , etc
Since then, Its not acute now so it is difficult to explain the exact case without testing muscle power, their may b tight TA or the nerve could damage or might b a spastic pattern is present.. How much you have done with physiotherapy in terms of frequency and duration??
detailed history is required to find out the cause then it's treatment
in stroke, condition like foot drop may occur due to TA spasm n shortening. foot drop is something different in other sense. any how you should elaboraye first the actual condition clinically. if this this a spastic case then physiotherapy can help him to walk independently.

Asalamoalikum... a person should walk with proper gait pattern, in stroke due to lack of neuromuscular coordination, gait pattern changes, you should help the patient to relearn proper gait patterns and strengthening of those muscles that are spastic... i am available for further suggestions..REGARDS
