you can consult me for therapy. if you don't want rehabilitation, then you'll have to go through self motivated therapy procedure for overcoming it. I appreciate your desire to let the drug not dominate your life.

what kind of therapy do you offer in regard to my addiction problem ....The thing is ,the withdrawal symptoms are very swift and severe ...so i think i might also need some medications to minimize withdrawal symptoms pain(physical, emotional, mental) and safely tapper of zolpidem .....can you prescribe such meds that can help with withdrawals being less severe or atleast bearable ,or would you just help me through therapy sessions, without any medications to counteract zolpidem withdrawals ?

I am a psychologist and prescribing medications is the task of a psychiatrist.
Yes, addiction often involves combination treatment for best outcomes.
in therapy, the work is done on specific triggers and self control to ensure successful tapering as well as coping skills required to avoid a relapse.

you should definitely consult a psychiatrist too.
however self control isn't something that comes from medications, it comes from addressing your own limiting beliefs that keeps one going back towards the substance of choice.
often a times it's one ways of coping with stressors so it's essential to learn other healthier outlets of frustration and management of stress.
if you wish to consult for the above mentioned concerns, you can through
