Talk to Psychiatry on Antidepressant

kindly forward question to psychaitrist only not to psychologist or others. my father is taking lexotanil 3mg as due to stress tension his systolic blood pressure raises upto 170 his blood pressure and stress controlled but he is complaining of heaviness of head dizziness drowsiness side effects otherwise medicine is good for him. kindly tell me substitute for lexotanil same effectiveness which do not cause above mentioned issues and especially donot cause bloating and constipation. Just comment those who can tell me substitute a humble request from all paychiatrists don't comment advices or anything else just substitute of lexotanil thnks.

I am old age psychiatrist with over 23 yrs experience in same speciality in the UK. Majority of patient in Pakistan believe they know more than the Doctor and want him or her to stamp and confirm what their impression is about his or her health. most People don't try to repair a faulty car, tv ,Ac or even mobile but happy to exprement with all kind of medications even though health is more precious than these appliances. I rarely prescribe laxotanil and cannot recommend a substitute without full assessment because I suspect he is not on most affective medication for his condition.

you are right respecred doctor m aware of these things already but he has no other history just stress driven highy blood pressure. no such medical history symptoms just after anoyying situation or argument his bp get raised systolic upto 170.

benzodiazapine are not for long term use as addictive but other medicines cause constipation and after flatulence his bp shoots. he took zoloft 50mg didn't not work but 100mg was going to kill him he cannot walk as gas trouble raises his bp abnormally high and wr took him to hospital immediately. problem is that every other medicine causes faltuenece he is chronic constipation patient so he has not much choices. uf some medicine donot cause stomach issues its donot work fr him. hope u will understand now
