if I feel loneliness and sadness for more than month i use sert with dr direction can antidepressants medicine has major side effects like kidney or heart issues as pain killer has side effect and how long we can use anti depressants

Antidepressant medications have multiple adverse effects, including the ones you mentioned. Also, long-term or stop-start use of SSRIs increases the risks associated with them especially discontinuation syndrome. I would suggest that you follow the guidelines when using psychotropic medications and also take therapy and lifestyle modifications. I am sorry to hear this. Yea antidepressants cause side effects in the long run. We need to see in which situations, there is no choice except prescribing medication, as it is beneficial. sometimes benefits outweigh the side effects. However loneliness and sadness is not the reason to go on them. There can be very effective treatment plan to deal and cope with these issues.
