I have a chronic issue regarding anxiety. When I do any common task like washing face or locking door, I do that thing multiple times like I lock door 2/3 times or more until I satisfy. I feel that if I do not satisfy myself, some bad will happen to my family which is very dear to me. I waste too much time in these repetitive activities. I am married, having kids and enjoying married life as well but I take stress very quickly.
This issue is attached to me since my childhood but it has now become worse. I want some guidance.
It is possible obessesive compulsive disorder. Can be treated by medication with psychological help. I can do both if u want an assessment

it's called OCD ....Obsessive compulsive disorder.... It's treatable with medication like antidepressants and antipsychotics along with psychotherapy ....It takes some time to completely recover...but a big sigh of relief for patient as OCD symptoms literally ruin the mental health and one is in constant mental agony .....May u recover soon ...
