Talk to Psychiatry on Depression Anxiety
Asking for Self, Female, 26 years old, Gujrat
2 years i got severe illness due to overwork and family issues which turned into severe depression, i was on bed for upto 6 month , i worked a lot on myself by proper diet and healthy supplements,i managed a lot of my symptoms but until now I'm not out of pain , I'm facing brain wandering and dizziness , burning sensations, headache and my body doesn't work properly. I went to a lot of doctors and physicians , a lot of peole (even some doctors) told me not to go to psychiatrist they said they will addict you on medicine , but i want to live ny life as i used to be in past. Plz guide me whether i should go to psychiatrist? Because it have been 2 years i am struggling with mental health.

You can first try psychotherapy sessions if you are not willing to be on medicines but if it fails the other option can be explored with a psychiatrist either it be medicines or other form of treatment but it will be your decision completely not anyone else's.
