Talk to Psychiatry on Generalised Anxiety Disorder

hi. I have generalised anxiety disorder I take sert 50mg perscribed by the psychiatrist. I was out of city as my anxiety got worst due to some reason so I consulted the doctor there. he prescribed me Pentoxol-M for 1 week . can I take it for a temporary use with sert when anxiety is high? thanks

When prescribed by a doctor no harm in talking this medicine. However, if I were him I would opt for increasing the dose of Sert. Take this medicine in addition to Sert and re-visit your Psychiatrist when you come back.
Better to build up sert till100 mg than taking two medicines togehter

Tab. Sertraline (sert or equasert or reline) is available any where while pentixol is unable to replace sertraline. So re-start sertraline of ant brand as advised
