Taking Rivotril for short term basis to relieve anxiety or stress is alright but we must make sure that you are aware of it's dependency potential and you must discontinue it within due time. if you're taking it exactly as prescribed by your psychiatrist and discontinue it within 2-3 weeks, you shouldn't worry about the side effects, as most serious side effects are directly related to dependance.
we can also make sure that the next time you're faced with an anxiety provoking situation such as exams, you don't need medication to cope with insomnia. For that purpose, you need to meet with a consultant on regular basis.
Most people have insomnia due to stress, if it is due to exams then it should go away if persists then seeing if depression or anxiety are contributing then treat that not with revotril . All the best for exams
