I was taking anti-depressant advice by my then Dr, took them for a year, allhamdulillah felt good so left them with my will, now it's been almost 4-5 mo this I haven't taken any anti-depressant, lately 3 weeks ago my BP started shooting and measurements are 150/120, 120/140 I consulted Dr through marham started BP medicines but now am feeling a lot irritated and aggressive, what should I do plz advise?
First check if it is not aide effect of ur BP medication.Otherwise u may need assessment for possible relapse of Depression and treatment
You can focus on your stressors and triggers as well.
To reduce stress regular exercise helps.
please consult with a psychiatrist as well again for better assessment and management.
in future pl consult your doctor before stopping any medication, there is significant chance of u needing to go back on same antidepressant but best to consult your Psychiatrist for this

If u dont mind put the salt name of your BP tablet here( not the brand name as i m in UK and dont know all meds name in Pakistan).If u feel gym is helping to control the irritability then plz continue. Further help can be only discussed after full assessment

I have got my cholesterol test done, I can share the report with you and the gym is not really helpful tbh. my cholesterol as per the report is quite high and from almost 10 days am on complete diet for cholesterol

Thanks for sharing meds. Your Bp tablet can cause anxiety,Not sure why r u on Rosuvastatin as u said u r controlling with diet? May b u r advised to do both. I am not going to advise u on Bp and cholesterol but for high cholesterol this med usually not given but some other. I will leave this for u to take advice by ur physician. It looks u have 2 physical health issues now . It can cause stress and can be caused by stress too! So again a thorough paychiatric assessment and may therapy with or without medication. My approach will be to keep mediaction( antidepressant/ anti anxiety) as last option because all medication cause intercation. U meed to settle ur physical health first.Let me know if u want an assessment for irritability and mood changes. I can do online assessment.
