kindly forward question to psychiatrist.I am having generalized anxiety disorder,can't tolerate SSRI or SNRI due to side effects or not getting required results, but Benzodiazapine works best on me, for long term benzodiazapines cannot be used is it possible to use buspirone as alternative.can i discuss it with my psychiatrist or any other option present.i am disappointed now.

Benzodiazepines cant b used for longer time. there are other treatment options. plz take oppointment
There is option of CBT as well as one you mentioned, ask your psychiatrist what works best for you, don't try on your own or at least take a second opinion to explore more options.
benzodiazapine are never a long term solution. you can have other options including buspiron but it is never advised to start using any medication without consulting a doctor. take appointment with a psychiatrist to discuss
