Deep rooted childhood fears can be cause, a good psychologist with authentic degree/qualification is the right choice. both medicine and Psychotherapy can be best option

yes it's possible that anxiety cones back after stopping medication, a d it's also possible that it does not come back at all. medication plus psychological intervention has good results as it improves the current distress along with eliminating the root cause of anxiety. Hope this helps.

to avoid relapses, please do dont stop medication and taking therapy. some times, treatment has to be continued long term for patient to feel better. do not worry about continuing treatment, as long as it is improving your mental health, we are on the right track.

yes, medicines and therapy is a good combination. there are antipsychotics that are safe for kidney and heart too. i would suggest discuss this in detail with a good psychiatrist because you might not need antipsychotics for your treatment.
