My brother become extremely violent nd aggressive even on small matters, He takes olepra 5mg sometimes but not on regular basis... will his health effect by this? Does this makes his condition even more worse?? kindly guide a little bit

olepra is not the kind of medicine that is taken off and on. please ensure that your brother takes the prescribed medicine daily. if after taking it daily he is still not better in a week, please consult a psychiatrist for further evaluation
5mg is very minimum dose. The condition of your brother is not due to olepra, but its due to his condition. Contact any psychiatrist asap. If you cannot afford, let me know i will help you.

yes, 5mg is minimum effective dose of olepra in first episode of schizophrenia and many patients are completely stable on this foresee if compliance is ensured. This patient has problem with compliance and first that needs to be ensured.
