I have social anxiety problem, I cannot speak in front and in between of other people, I have very negative self image, poor conversation skills. I fear people that's why I remain silent most of the time and that's the reason I have very few friends , I cannot feel joy in social situations. I see people, amazingly, who laugh and enjoy the moments in my college, they want to be there for more and more time, on the contrary, I want to leave college as soon as possible. I have shyness problem too. When I return from college I feel headache. I overthink even when nothing had happened. I wake up from sleep and overthink about the poor performance in college that people are considering me weak due to shaking voice and poor performance in a presentation and they have negative views about me, they consider me weak etc, I speak negative talks to myself whenever I are a lot of things that I cannot write because a limited space is given here. These things are really disturbing my life too much, when I attended the class I get focussed on myself more than on the lecture that's why I don't understand much of that means It is also affecting my study... plz tell me, do I need medications to get relieved from these issues but mujhe medicines lene see bht dr lgta h k inke side effects s men pagal na hojaon , ya koi aur bura asr na ho mre dimag p..

Besides taking psychological skill building sessions, you can try a self-help technique as" Stand in front of mirror and talk on a topic of your choice or read something loudly. Meanwhile you can do voice recording of your talk in your own mobile and monitor where improvement is needed.

Ma'am I have tried tips and ways on Google ,YouTube etc to get out of this panic situation, but I am unable to overcome it. Because I am facing these problems (continuous sadness , anxious mind set, negativity) from childhood. May be it is a problem in my brain internal environment as there is no the time it remain anxious. I am not sure, but it could be genetic or a result of the anxious type environment I am living in.
I am not a social person so it could also be the cause. I don't socialize much because I don't feel joy whenever I meet with people, I don't feel joy and happiness while talking with them even with my close friends, sometimes I feel like I have social anhedonia along with social anxiety.....
I think I cannot overcome these problems on my own. Plzz advise me!
