aoa. I'm from Quetta, I'm divorced and I took khulla 2 years back. and since 4 years I'm in some kind of depression though it increased from last 3 years, and has gone to it's extreme from last year. I don't want to go for any medication but is there any other significant way to control my emotions. if there's any good psychologist in Quetta or anyone I can find online please do tell.

As it is seen that you are going through grief which seems to be unreaolved. As no prior history of the marriage and dynamics of the relationship is also provided. We experience different emotions in certain situations and sometimes they are intense enough to manage on our own, grieving a loss of relation is one of them. I would suggest to seek profession help feom a psychologist, who would help you to process through talking therapy. They would assess and might guide you better if medication is needed or it can be helped through therapy only.

apart from medication you need therapy to heal from this trauma
it can be adjustment problem or situational depression.it brings emotional distress.adjusting to life after divorce takes time.u need to keep a journal,follow sleep hygiene,deep breath,excercise,increase social support etc...can seek professional help to explore further through video consultation.

Dr. Aymen, thinking that you have depression and getting worried about its treatment is like trying to do your own root canal at home. and you must know better then anybody how it sounds. labeling your own self is as harmful. I will suggest you please take a look there are profile you can choose pls select somebody and start therapy and your psychologist or therapist will help you explore more about your condition, you have already took 4 years to take a right step pls dont take more its high time to step forward.
