According to Evidence Based practices and ethics in psychology, If the person wants to be cured with this sexual issue, there is pure cognitive behavioral therapy and psychological interventions which can help people deal with such issues. It takes time as well which is realistic. However, in some cases, people are fine with homosexuality and the only concern of them is to face social pressure otherwise they don't have problem with homosexuality. In that case, being a Mental Health professional, we don't impose our values and change his mindset. We make them learn to deal with stress and societal issues
