Talk to Pulmonologist / Lung on Allergy And Mucous

person-avatar

Asking for Self, Female, 29 years old, Karachi

My doctor has prescribed Montiget 10mg and zyrtec 10 mg once at night, Zatofen 1 mg and Rapicort 5 mg twice a day and hydrillin syrup thrice for 5 days

I seek advise regarding these things:

1. After taking the above mentioned treatment once at night my breathing issue was gone, but its the 3rd day and I feel mucous in lower throat on backside. Only white saliva is coming out and no mucous is coming even though I try hard (willingly and unwillingly) to get it out.
What should I do?

2. I found weight gain, high B.P., etc as side effects of one medicine. I am already 63 kg and 5'4". Are these medicines right for me?

I had serious allergy from 2010-2012. 4 days ago I started wheezing due to several factors but breathing not very difficult

I think you need proper medicine for chest Bronchospasm by inhalation. But most important is proper medical history and proper physical examination

Stop zatatofen. It contains ketatofen which has sedation. And decrease cough reflex. That is why mucous is accumulating in your throat use mucosolvon syrup to liquify your mucous. If problem persist contact nearest pulmonologist.
