Talk to Pulmonologist / Lung on Excessive Mucus From Lungs

person-avatar

Asking for Father, Male, 50 years old, Karachi

Patient is having excessive mucus coming from lungs. Been almost more than a month. No cough or breathing problem but he has to hardly cough the mucus out every other minute. I am planning to have online consultation but he has no x-ray and it is impossible to have it under these circumstances. He has kidney stones and some problems related to gastro. Any doctor who can help without x-ray? He thinks its some infection due to side-effect of any antibiotic.

Mucus comes after one or two hour of taking food
No headache

Color of mucus is greenish. It is thick
Mucus comes after cough then no cough appears
Initially perhaps was flu and I took cycin 500 mg two times in day and amoxicillin 500 mg two times.
