My cousin Is Diagnosed with TBM and she is taking MYrin P Forte + eso opmeprazole since 1.5 month.Now she is having Vomiting and Stomach pain. she is also Having fever regularly since 2 months beside taking Myrip P forte.i need suggestions regarding dr Who can manage TBM and Medication side effects
can you plz tell about her initial symptoms and tests reports upon which she was diagnosed as having TBM?

She should have been on steroids as well. Should see infectious disease consultant. Get LFTs checked as well.
Her treating doctor should be able to handle her. Her liver function has to be tested. Steroids should have been added. I would like to add Levofloxacin or moxifloxacin having good ability to cross brain barrier. Though may not be in the guidelines. Some how steroids are very much needed to avoid certain complications.
