Doppler ultrasound is a type of ultrasound which is mainly done to check blood supply to the baby and monitor fetal growth. it is usually done if gynecologist suspects that baby is small for dates on clinical check up or if there is any such previous history in prior pregnancy or if the mother is having high BP.
