Talk to Radiologist on Old Faulty X Ray Machine Exposure

Any radiologist please help. I went for dental x ray and the machine looked very old. it had strange head on it also. may be x ray tube head. i am afraid if that faulty machine can emit huge radiation and expose me to it. is that possible for me to get cancer from this one exposure? or am i just being fearful?

You are just fearful, dental xray have very little radiation dose, nothing to worry

The risk of few cancers increases with dosage of radiation recieves by an individual, however, it is less likely to get cancer by a single exposure from xray tube

You are just being fearful . But do try to visit medical practitioners who have latest machine or atleast have proper cleaning methods.
