Talk to Rheumatologist on Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS)
Asking for Self, Male, 33 years old, Barcelona Spain
I am in Spain and I have been diagnosed with early stage of Ankylosing spondylitis (AS) , I was under treatment of Salazopyrin 500 mg but Pfizer has stopped producing that medicine so there is no alternate here but there is Salazodine EC available in Pakistan, so my question is that is it good alternative to Salazopyrin or any other best alternative option available in Pakistan?

Yes, that is a good alternative and effective. Question is? If you have ankylosing spomdylitis, why are you not on biologic agents, which are better option than Salazodine .. plz do update anout your diagnosis whether it is Ank SpA or not ..

My doctor says its the early stage (Sacroiliitis) so we should try with medicine because biological agent is very expensive.
