Asking For Self, Male 38, lahore
i am 38 years old and have a history of Avascular Necrosis and have my both hips replaced. I am feeling slight pain while walking in my right knee joint. the pain appears when i straighten up my right leg. Bone from the right leg has also been used for grafting 10 yrs ego. right hip joint has been replaced 45 days ego. Xrays are attached. I'll be very thankful for the guidance..
kindly visit your surgeon to exam. may be pain is due to hip. or you need some exercises to strengthen your leg muscles. but this need to be evaluated first.
xray seems normal.
Hi
The xray of you knee does not show any major evidence of destruction, or necrosis or degeneration. Some time this pain is in soft tissue such as tendons.
Most likely due to bad hips your posture was affected which caused extra strain on the knee.
Please use simple analgesia such as paracetamol for this knee pain and if pain persists then will need further imaging to look at the soft tissues.
Also if your weight is an issue and exercise is difficult to do because of hips then going on a weight reduction diet is an option.
Well let me know if any other issue or use the online consult for further exploration of your issues.
Due to recent hip replecment muscluar strength of the same leg has been decreased or it may be due to any tendon. Take analgesic and also correct your posture and position of leg. For proper investigation or muscle strengthening consult with me or any other physiotherapist for proper positioning and exc.

with your history, it is even more dangerous to ask for medicines through shortcuts via messaging.
please take a good rheumatologist opinion.
or consult your own orthopedic-rheumatologist-physio department team who were involved in your joint replacement.
it is unsafe to request or prescribe medicines on this kind of forum.
