Asking for Self, Female, 28 years old, Lahore

I have severe pain in my leg and back. Usually the pain starts from lower abdominal and move towards back and whole left leg. I took pain killer and it get vanished. Mostly pain starts at fajar time. Someone said this is sciatica. Can someone please tell me what basically it is and suggest me a doctor in lahore

sciatica is uncommon at your age until you have history of trauma or heavy weight lifting. pain early morning is a very specific feature of inflammation in your back. this needs further testing and may need an MRI scan. you can book an appointment ASAP.

There can be 100 of causes why pain starts in legs and back, the common causes can be muscle Tightness, muscle weakness, spasm in muscles, fascia shortening, abnormal biomechanics, joint stiffness and many more ... There might be a possibility of nerves problem in the legs, which you are referring to as SCIATICA... but the pain of Sciatica can be continuous, sharp and burning in nature.. If this is not the case then pain might be due to muscle imbalance... This can properly and thoroughly be treated with Physiotherapy, consult an experienced Physiotherapist for further assessment and treatment.
