I understand you're looking for practical preventive measures to manage your back condition following a car accident. It's great to hear that you've recovered significantly, but continuous sitting and stress on the back can indeed exacerbate compression issues. Here are some general guidelines that may help:
1. **Maintain Good Posture**: Ensure your back is supported while sitting. Use ergonomic chairs that support the natural curve of your spine¹¹.
2. **Regular Breaks**: Take short breaks every 30 minutes to stand, stretch, or walk around¹¹.
3. **Exercise**: Engage in regular low-impact exercises such as walking, swimming, or yoga to strengthen the muscles around your spine¹².
4. **Core Strengthening**: Focus on exercises that strengthen your core muscles, which support your lower back¹².
5. **Education**: Learn about back health and preventive strategies. Sometimes, combining exercise with education on how to manage your condition can be beneficial¹².
6. **Ergonomic Workspace**: If your job involves long periods of sitting, ensure your workspace is set up to minimize strain on your back. This includes the height of your chair, position of your computer screen, and the use of a footrest if necessary¹¹.
7.Weight Management**: Maintain a healthy weight to reduce the load on your spine
8.
Proper Lifting TechniquesWhen lifting objects, use your legs to lift rather than bending from the waist
It's important to consult with a healthcare professional who can tailor these suggestions to your specific condition and needs. They may also recommend physical therapy or other treatments as part of a comprehensive care plan.

1.Maintain your back core muscles strength with lower back isometric exercises.
2. For long sitting hours add breaks for desk stretches it will help to restore mobility.
3.Avoid heavy lifting of objects in posture causing strain at your back, keeping back straight/ neutral while lifting helps you from undue stress at low back.
4. Don't use lumbar corset / belts (if using) rather engage in low back strengthening and stretching regimes.
