You actually need to visit the physiotherapist to regain the muscle strength they’ll use ems/tens machines and guide you facial stretches that will help you but if you leave it to get recover by its own then it will take more time
You need to follow some physio sessions and can have the home plan aswell.
you need consult experienced physio who not only guide you simple exercises but also make complete assessment and make proper diagnosis either viral, UMN/ LMN, Bell's/ facial nerve palsy and prognosis. or before you got diagnosed this way by your neuro or physician then bring your prescription to physiotherapist and ask for treatment plan. and also if you searched for some youtube or google about you condition, also discuss and ask for it that it is good for you or not.
