Asking For Father, Male 0, Karachi

Assalam o Alaikum! My son is currently 4 months old and he is on combine feed (Mother feed & formula milk Meiji FMT-1) due to less supply of mother feed as well as my wife is working women. Currently the weight of my son is 6.4 kg. Kindly recommend when should we start weaning and which type food will be good for infant diet. Also, should we continue formula milk after six months?

Aoa!
Your infant weight is slightly less than the normal weight that usually infants have at this age but it's fine, you can start weaning at the 6 months
Introduce single-ingredient purees (e.g., rice cereal, mashed banana, or avocado) 1-2 times a day.Gradually increase solid food intake (2-3 times a day) and introduce new ingredients.
Regarding formula milk after six months:
Meiji FMT-1Suitable for infants up to 12 months.
You can consult with nutritionist and pediatrician for more guidance
You can also get modified recipes for infants and toddlers.
