I was diagnosed by typhoid by a doctor. Taking ciproxin. My skin was red for the past few days. Now its 1 week into infection and i have this rash and its also itchy. Took softin but its not helping. Is this normal? any medicine i can take for relief?

this rash can be drug rash due to ciprox this drug should be switch to other antibiotic.you can contact me through marham app for proper replacement of drug.

It looks like the rash you're experiencing could be a reaction to the antibiotic you're taking, ciprofloxacin. Sometimes medications can cause skin reactions like this, and in your case, it might be the cause of the itching and redness.
Here's what we're going to do to help:
Stop Ciprofloxacin: We'll need to switch you to a different antibiotic for your typhoid. This should help prevent the rash from getting worse.
Treat the Rash:
I'm going to prescribe you a cream to help with the itching and reduce the redness. It's a type of mild steroid that should calm your skin down.
We'll also give you a stronger antihistamine, which should help with the itching more than the one you’ve been taking.
Moisturize and Care for Your Skin: I recommend using a good moisturizer on the rash to keep your skin hydrated. Also, try to avoid scratching, as that can make things worse.
Monitor for Changes: If the rash starts to get worse—like if you see blisters, peeling, or if it spreads to your mouth or eyes—please come back right away. But this plan should help things settle down soon.
We’ll check in to make sure everything’s improving, and if you don’t feel better in a few days, or if things get worse, come back so we can adjust your treatment.
