My left 1st upper molar is having sewwt sensitivity for the last 2 months, and now I can feel that over time a corner of this tooth has become rough with a black spot in centre. I am having mild pain in his tooth from last 2 days. Want to know that can a dental filling fix the issue or a root canal would be needed

The best way to diagnose is to have a clinical check up and an Xray. According to your symptoms it seems the filling would have done the work but now as the pain is persistent and continuous you might need Root canal treatment but in either case First have a clinical check up and xray.

Visit a dentist for proper diagnosis. It is still treatable at this point. Leaving as is will lead to further pain and complications

it needs to be evaluated first x-ray should be taken in order to see if it can get any better with filling or else need to go for rct
You need to visit a dentist asap. As proper examination and x-ray will be required to decide the treatment plan.
