Asking for Self, Male, 29 years old, sandhilianwali toba tek singh
Dear Urologist,
I recently had an ultrasound that showed the following findings:
Right Scrotal Sac: A few dilated extravesicular vessels with a maximum diameter of 2.1 mm, increasing to 2.3 mm during a Valsalva maneuver. Left Scrotal Sac: A few prominent extravesicular vessels with a maximum diameter of 1.8 mm, increasing to 2.0 mm during a Valsalva maneuver. Diagnosis: The findings were interpreted as consistent with a Grade 1 varicocele, which is generally considered a normal issue. Despite this, I am experiencing persistent pain in the right testicle and lower back.
Could you please help me understand the following:
Is it common for a Grade 1 varicocele to cause this level of pain? What might be causing the back pain, and how can it be managed? Are there any further tests or treatments you would recommend? Thank you for your assistance.
