Ultrasound testes was done to relocate testes it showed both testes are intraabdominal .can we proceed with testicular sperm extractions for IVF if testes are intraabdominal ?? Studies have shown that intra abdominal testis have high risk of developing testicular cancer. Undescended testicles that are not brought into the scrotum from a young age will not produce sperm. Even with surgical correction, higher rates of infertility are seen. testosterone (androgen) deficiency – having two undescended testes increases the risk of developing testosterone deficiency. First treatment is to locate testis to bring it down for the prevention and self examination of testis.
