i am suffering from depression and some sexual issues , my body is not in perfect shape, my testosterone level is 3.96ng/mg, , i have low muscle mass on body and increased fat , less beard and no hairs on body, i have digestion issues and GERD, , i have poor growth and bone strength and low energy level, should i go for Testosterone replacement therapy , or there any natural way to increase T level, i believe increasing T level will help me to get rid of depression plz guide

Assalamo Alaikum dear. The low drive and scarcity of secondary sexual characters could be due to testosterone. But depression in itself is a big issue. Regarding your low sex drive and low testosterone levels, before starting hormone replacement we need a detailed history such as age,marital status,prostate size and dimensions,fertility status. I will discourage testosterone replacement before these measures as only testosterone replacement will cause infertility and increase in size of prostate. Even than before.starting hormone replacement you need basic workup,lab tests and a detailed history. Testosterone replacement can cause many serious side effects and health issues. No doubt vigour and libido are improved but behaviour changes,changes in prostate,blood sugar and hematocrit levels are also encountered. My advise is to get a proper consultation done before such drastic measures
