ASSALAM U ALIKUM. SIR I WAS IN BAD HABIT OF EXTREME MASTURBATION DAILIY & ADDICTED TO PORN AND DO DAILY MASTURBATION 3 TO 4 TIMES. NOW DUE TO IT I AM SUFFERING FROM ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION. THERE IS LOSS IN PENIS SIZE AND TIMING IS ALMOST ZERO. I VISITED A SEXOLOGIST IN KARACHI AND HE SUGGESTED ME THE KUB & SCROTUM ULTRA SOUND AND GIVE ME THE FOLLOWING TABLETS: 1) CASANOVA FOR MEN 2) YTIG PLUS 3) ONCE A DAY NOW I AM NOT DOING ANY MASTURBATION AND NOT WATCHING ANY PORN BUT STILL AFTER USING THESE MEDICINES FOR LAST 15 DAYS I HAVENOT FELT ANY CHANGE. PLEASE GIVE EM SECOND OPINION TOO. Should I continue taking these medicines. Is this disease curable? How much time required for it. Please help

well as a family physician I usually see lot of cases and mostly after having detailed general and special history taking and routine medical and special examination come to the conclusion is that this type of sexual activity leed to a special type of guilt and then into depression and which on turn effect erectile dysfunction, in addition discussion with colleagues and friends makes it more complicated . I would like to add that Masturbation is a normal phenomenon it will not effect any type of erectile dysfunction , mostly it is psychogenic and requires assurance and good life style exercise and healthy diet .with in few weeks there will be no ED believe it. Don't take medicines for that , if you have time just visit your family physician he will guide you and if he thinks anything unusual he will refer you to the concerned specialist.
