Talk to Urologist on Vaginal Dryness
Asking for Wife, Female, 27 years old, Lahore
My wife is having a problem of vaginal dryness since we marry. We can not intercourse without using lubricant. Even with lubricant she always have pain and burning sensation and can never enjoy the intercourse till date. We have one baby. What is the treatment for this condition ?
You shall consult a gynecologist for an evaluation. In the interim, use a Silicone based lubricant like Astroglide premium (silicone variety) or Astroglide silicone based gel rather than oil based or water based lubricant like K-Y jelly.
Secondly, ask your doctor for a prescription of Vaginal Estrogen (available in different forms like tablet or cream etc). This would improve the problem.
Thirdly, improve communication between yourself and do not rush things.
Get an Ultrasound pelvis prior to consulting the Gynecologist.
