Asking for Self, Male, 25 years old, Lahore
I have been diagnosed with a moderate to severe vericocele on left hand side. No heavy pain, yes a bag of worms and swollen vein is evident upon touching(I've had an ultrasound) I want to know its treatment method. It can be cured through homeopathic medicines? Or what other best methods or practices can be used to get cured.
Surgery is the best treatment.
simple Laparoscopic ligation will cure it.

Dr. Kamran,
What actually is that?
By the way, what are the chances of losing or retaining fertility. Also what are the chances of reoccurence. I'm not yet married and is looking to get married soon.

And one more important thing. Is there any harm if I carry and live with this problem till I get married. Cz I've read somewhere that 'Not all vericocele requires surgery'. Plz provide consultation regarding all the above issues. U'll be thankful.

Usually it's not harmful. But indications are objective too. And yes some patients do suffer infertility due to this.

Dr. Rashid,
But I think surgery can be the last option. I know you can suggest better. But just for the sake of my satisfaction.

Its not last. Its first line and only treatment. The surgery does nt cause infertility but not getting it treated does.
Hope it answers your concerns

My point is that it is necessary and suggested to gor for surgery as early as possible or I can wait. As I'm unmarried and is planning to get married in 1. 5 years or so. So shall I go for surgery now or near or after marriage.
