According to Marham News, 215 new cases of dengue virus have been reported in the province of Punjab, which is based in the city of Lahore, in the last 24 hours.
The Punjab secretary of health says that in the last 24 hours, there have been 105 cases of dengue virus in Lahore and 47 cases of the mosquito-borne disease in Rawalpindi.
Also, 18 cases of dengue fever were reported in Gujranwala, while Kasur, Vehari, and Sheikupura each reported three cases.
The Punjab secretary of health says that there have been 3,645 cases of dengue in the province this year, with 1,489 of those cases happening in Lahore.

In this year’s dengue spike, 3273 new cases of dengue fever were reported in the city of Karachi.
He also said that four people had died this year in Punjab from dengue fever and that 879 other people were being treated at clinics and hospitals all over the province.

In the last 24 hours, 349 new cases of the virus were reported in Karachi, the provincial capital of Sindh. This number is likely to go up as the monsoon season goes on.
Punjab & Secondary Healthcare Department stated on its Twitter account that it will make sure to provide healthcare assistance to the affected areas of Punjab.
