Pakistanis will observe the Shawwal moon sighting on April 9, 2024, to celebrate the Eid-ul-Fitr on April 10, 2024.
The top moon sighting committee of Pakistan, Ruet-e-Hilal, will bring together a meeting to observe the Shawwal Moon. Abdul Khabir Azad will chair the central committee meeting along with other zonal committees in provincial capitals.

If Muslims see the Crescent moon of Shawwal Tonight, Eid-ul-Fitr will be observed on April 10, 2024 (Wednesday) along with other Muslim Countries, including UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Turkey, Egypt, Iran, the UK, and other Gulf Nations.
It is a rare case that if Shawwal Moon is not sighted today, Eid will be on April 11, 2024 (Thursday) and there will be 30 fasts.
