LAHORE – Public and private schools in all cities of Punjab, including Lahore, will have new school timings in Punjab after Eid-ul-Fitr 2024. The reduced hours were being followed for the Holy Month of Ramadan 2024.
During Ramadan 2024, the authorities have lessened the hours of educational institutions. During Ramadan, the morning shift was from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm from Monday to Thursday. On Friday, the school timings were from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. For the second shift, the timings were from 1 pm to 4 pm.
All public and private schools have announced public holidays till April 13, 2024, to celebrate the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr and the schools will reopen on April 15, 2024 (Monday).
New School Timings in April 2024 in Lahore After Eid
The educational department has now changed the school timings that will be implemented after Eid.

The boy’s schools will start from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm from Monday to Thursday, whereas on Friday, the classes will be from 8:30 am to 12:15 pm.
Similarly, the girl’s schools will start from 8:15 am to 2:15 pm from Monday to Thursday, whereas on Friday, the classes will be from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm.
